Motion

What I see in this photograph is my partner(s), playing with a small, red, plastic ball.
The extreme contrast was intentional aswell as the color splashed ball. They are given more contrast than the background, so that the background isn't completely blacked out, or given too much focus. The focal point of the photo is the two playing with the ball.
In this photo, I was attempting to communicate, or show, motion. Just two children kicking a ball back and forth, paused in time, into the paper of a photograph.

Depth Of Field

What I see in this photograph is my partner, Carlos, leaning, relaxing if you will, against a thin tree. The intentional blurring, is to lean the focus upon Carlos himself and the tree in which he's leaning on. This photo shows the depth of field by mostly focusing on the objects closer to the camera lense.
In this photo, I was attempting to communicate, or show, a good depth in field. The blurred background making the frontground more focused and in the spotlight.

Angled Shots - Part Two

What I see in this photograph is my partner, Carlos, looking directly into the camera lense, (even though it's kindof hard to see) whilst standing upon a high wall. It's got a contrast between tones in the background, and with his shoe, but Carlos himself is kindof fading into the darkness.
This effect was intentional and adds a very different artistic technique.
In this photo, I was attempting to communicate, the beauty of the world without man, or man made items. Like, if we were to stop our destructive path, and take a look around, we could really see the beauty the world has to offer, but the darkness behind Carlos is like symbolism of how we're basically destroying the beauty, we're covering it with a mask of man made cities and other items.

Angled Shots - Part One

What I see in this photograph is my partner, Carlos, looking off into the sky whilst sitting in a low tree. It's got a contrast between tones with the background and with Carlos.
He has more contrast than the background and more focus. This was intentional as well as the cartoonish effect that the background is portraying.
In this photo, I was attempting to communicate, or show, the blurred edges between reality and imagination. The background is taking on a blurred, cartoonish looking effect, while Carlos is in perfect focus and he has no cartoon effect, He's the reality of the photo. But it's kind of portraying his imagination, like he's day dreaming.
I personally think this is a pretty good photo for being my first, But maybe I need to work more on the technical aspect of this old fashioned photography, Maybe get better exposures too, and just a little work on the editing process.
